Born in Košice, I started my studies at the local Faculty of Arts at the Technical University in 2004. Three years later, I moved to Prague to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in the painting studio of Vladimir Skrepl.
My work originates in my interest in traditional media such as drawing and graphic art which I try to transform into current forms of visuality. I get inspired by themes which draw on popular culture, the internet, TV, magazines or urban legends combined with invented characters. With a certain dose of black humour I depict various beings in unexpected or awkward situations. The style of my drawings is influenced mostly by American alternative comics, futuristic dance/pop music covers, horror films and street art.
